Core Professional Services
MSME & Business Advisory
Setting up, structuring, financing and growing a business, from registration and accounting to company law, transactions and succession.
Overview
Most businesses start with a founder, an idea and a few customers. As they grow, the questions change: which legal structure to use, how to keep proper books, what a bank needs to see before lending, which filings company law requires, how to bring in an investor or buy another business, and how a family hands the business to the next generation.
Where this helps
Common situations
Starting up
- 01You are choosing between a private limited company, an LLP and a partnership, and need to know the tax and compliance effect of each.
- 02A new business needs incorporation, a PAN and TAN, GST, Udyam and other registrations in the right order.
- 03A proprietorship or partnership has grown and needs to convert to a company or LLP.
Running the business
- 04There is no accountant, or the books are kept irregularly and fall behind.
- 05Year-end arrives, and the books are not ready for audit or tax filings.
- 06Annual ROC filings, board meetings and statutory registers have been missed.
Financing
- 07A bank asks for a project report, CMA data and projections before considering a term loan or working-capital limit.
- 08Existing limits are up for renewal, and the bank wants updated projections and analysis.
Foreign investment
- 09The company has received foreign investment and must report it under FEMA within the time allowed.
- 10An Indian business is investing in a company abroad and needs to follow the ODI rules.
Transactions
- 11You are buying a business or investing in one, and need to check its financial health first.
- 12An investor is coming in, and the company needs its records and valuation support in order.
Family businesses
- 13The next generation is joining, and roles, ownership and decision-making are unclear.
- 14Family members disagree over the business or its assets.
- 15The founder wants a succession plan and a family constitution before handing over.

Frequently asked questions
Questions people ask
Should I choose a private limited company, an LLP or a partnership?
It depends on your plans for funding, ownership, liability and compliance. A company suits businesses seeking investors; an LLP or partnership can be simpler to run. We compare the options for your case.
Do you arrange bank loans?
No. We prepare the project report, CMA data and projections a bank needs to assess the loan. The lending decision is the bank's.
What is CMA data?
Credit Monitoring Arrangement data: a standard set of past and projected financial statements and ratios that banks use to assess working-capital and term-loan requests.
What annual filings does a private company have to make?
At minimum, its financial statements and annual return with the Registrar of Companies, along with board and general meetings and other event-based filings during the year.
Does foreign investment have to be reported?
Yes. Foreign investment received by an Indian company or LLP must be reported under FEMA within the prescribed time.
Can you keep our books if you are also our auditor?
For companies, the law does not allow the statutory auditor to provide accounting and bookkeeping services to the same company. We will advise which services we can provide in your case.
Services are offered subject to applicable independence requirements.
