Corporate Solutions
Managed Finance & Compliance Services
Controllership, cash and working-capital management, statutory compliance and payroll governance, managed by a firm of Chartered Accountants.
Overview
As a business grows, its finance function has to do far more than record transactions. Cash has to be planned, customers followed up, suppliers paid on time, lenders and investors kept informed, and a long list of statutory obligations met every month.
Where this helps
Common situations
Control over the books
- 01The books are written up, but no one reviews them before they reach management or the auditor.
- 02Every audit brings a long list of adjustments that should have been picked up at month-end.
- 03Cut-offs, accruals and provisions are handled differently from one month to the next.
Cash and treasury
- 04A cash shortfall is discovered a week before salaries, taxes or supplier payments fall due.
- 05Drawing-power and stock statements for the bank are prepared in a hurry and do not agree with the books.
- 06Payments go out from several bank accounts without a common approval matrix.
Working capital
- 07Receivables keep growing, and overdue customers are chased only when cash runs short.
- 08Payments to micro and small enterprise suppliers cross the time limits that affect the income-tax deduction for those expenses.
- 09No one tracks the number of days of stock, debtors and creditors, so cash stays locked in the business.
Statutory compliance
- 10GST, TDS and ROC due dates are tracked in different places, and late fees and interest follow.
- 11Promoters and the board have no single view of which filings are complete and which are pending.
- 12Notices arrive for differences between the books, GST returns and Form 168 (earlier Form 26AS) or AIS.
Payroll
- 13Payroll and sales incentives are worked out on spreadsheets that only one person understands.
- 14PF, ESIC, professional tax and TDS on salary are reconciled only at year-end.
Lenders and investors
- 15Lenders and investors ask for quarterly information and covenant compliance, and every request becomes a scramble.
- 16Investor and KYC records of a fund or SPV are spread across emails and folders.
Capacity and continuity
- 17A key finance person leaves, and controls lapse until a replacement settles in.
- 18Year-end, audits and due-diligence requests need more hands than the team has.
- 19A new subsidiary or branch needs a working finance function from day one.
How we help
What we do and how we work
Financial Controllership
We act as the controller of your finance function. The books your team records are reviewed every month, reconciliations are checked, cut-offs, accruals and provisions are applied consistently, and each month is closed to a timetable. The books stay ready for audit throughout the year.
Includes
- monthly review of books
- close calendar and checklists
- review of reconciliations
- accruals, provisions and cut-off checks
- accounting policy notes
- audit-ready schedules
Treasury & Cash Management
We plan cash weekly and monthly, so that salaries, taxes and supplier payments are funded before they fall due. Bank payments follow an approval matrix, and the information lenders ask for is prepared from reconciled books.
Includes
- cash-flow forecasting
- fund planning
- bank payment controls and approval matrix
- drawing-power and stock statements
- lender information and covenant tracking
Working Capital Management
We monitor receivables, payables and inventory together, so that cash is not locked up in the business. Overdue customers are followed up to an agreed policy, supplier payments are scheduled to terms, and payments to micro and small enterprises are tracked against the time limits that affect the income-tax deduction.
Includes
- credit and collection policy
- receivables ageing and follow-up
- payables scheduling
- MSME supplier payment tracking
- stock, debtor and creditor days
- working-capital report
Statutory Compliance Management
We maintain a compliance calendar for each entity and support the filings it lists. Books, GST returns and Form 168 (earlier Form 26AS) or AIS are reconciled regularly, so differences are resolved before they turn into notices. A monthly dashboard shows management what is complete, due or overdue under GST, income tax and company law.
Includes
- entity-wise compliance calendar
- GST, TDS and ROC filing support
- books-to-return reconciliations
- monthly compliance dashboard
Payroll Governance & Statutory Payments
We compute or validate payroll, incentives and reimbursements against your policies. Statutory deductions are paid on time and reconciled every month rather than at year-end.
Includes
- payroll computation and validation
- incentive scheme computation
- TDS on salary
- PF, ESIC and professional tax
- payslips, registers and Form 16 support
Finance Operations & Data Management
We keep the records that finance decisions depend on accurate and current, from vendor and customer masters to distributor sales data and investor records.
Includes
- vendor and customer master updates
- vendor management
- consolidation of sales and secondary sales
- data-sheet preparation
- investor and KYC records
Finance Team Augmentation
When your team needs more capacity for year-end, audits or a special project, our qualified staff work alongside them, under our supervision, on an engagement we are responsible for.
Includes
- year-end closing support
- audit schedules and queries
- due-diligence data requests
- cover during staff transitions

Frequently asked questions
Questions people ask
How is this different from outsourcing bookkeeping?
Bookkeeping records transactions. This service controls and manages the finance function: reviewing the books, planning cash, managing working capital, keeping compliance on track and reporting. Bookkeeping is available separately under our Core Professional Services.
How is this different from a Virtual CFO?
Managed Finance runs the finance function month to month. A Virtual CFO focuses on strategy, budgets and major decisions. Many businesses use both together.
Do we have to change our accounting software?
No. We work on your existing system, such as Tally, Zoho Books or SAP.
Can our own finance team stay?
Yes. Your team continues to record transactions, and in a co-sourced model your finance head keeps decision-making.
How is our financial data kept confidential?
Access is limited to the engagement team, and confidentiality obligations are set out in the engagement letter.
Can you also be our statutory auditor?
For companies, the law restricts the statutory auditor from providing certain services, such as accounting and management services, to the same company. We will advise which services we can provide in your case.
Services are offered subject to applicable independence requirements.
