Automation & Data Management
Clean data, reconciled ledgers and less manual work, with controls built into the way your financial data moves.
Overview
Financial data rarely stays clean on its own. Systems change, entities merge, transactions arrive from banks, portals, distributors and marketplaces, and over time the records stop agreeing with each other. Teams then spend their days copying, matching and correcting data instead of using it.
This service brings an accountant's discipline to that data. We migrate data between systems and prove that it arrived correctly, reconcile ledgers and clear old differences, and replace repetitive work with dashboards, exception reports and tools designed around your own process. Every step leaves a record that management and auditors can follow.
Where this helps
Common situations
System change and migration
- 01You are moving from Tally to SAP, Oracle, Zoho or another ERP, and no one has checked whether the data carried over is correct.
- 02Opening balances in the new system do not agree with the audited closing figures of the old one.
- 03Duplicate customers, vendors and items were carried over, and transactions are now posted to the wrong records.
- 04After a merger, demerger or group restructuring, ledgers of several entities must be brought into one system.
Reconciliations
- 05Bank reconciliations are months behind, and unexplained entries keep accumulating.
- 06Input tax credit in the books does not agree with GSTR-2B, and credit is lost or blocked.
- 07Vendor and customer balances differ from their confirmations, and disputes surface at year-end.
- 08Inter-company balances across group entities do not match, delaying consolidation.
- 09Payment-gateway, marketplace and point-of-sale settlements do not tie up with bank receipts.
Manual work and reporting
- 10Teams spend days each month copying data between systems and spreadsheets.
- 11Management reports are assembled by hand and reach decision-makers after the month is over.
- 12Different departments report different numbers for the same measure.
- 13Distributors and supply-chain partners send daily sales in different formats, and there is no consolidated daily sales dashboard.
- 14Company-owned salons, shops, ice-cream parlours and retail outlets report sales, stock and cash settlements on separate sheets, with no central view.
- 15Transporters settle daily trips and driver imprest by hand at each location, and the monthly invoice is built from scattered records.
- 16Banks and NBFCs check KYC and loan documents manually, which slows approvals and lets discrepancies slip through.
Controls and audit
- 17Audits test small samples, so errors and unusual transactions in the rest of the data go unnoticed.
- 18Duplicate payments, split invoices and unusual entries are found only by chance.
- 19Approvals and compliance checks depend on emails and reminders, and leave no trail.
- 20Exceptions at branch or product level come to light weeks after they happen.
How we help
What we do and how we work
Data Migration & ERP Transition
We map data fields from the old system to the new one, clean and de-duplicate masters, and validate opening balances against the audited figures. We write test cases for user acceptance testing, check the parallel run and apply cut-over controls, so that no transaction is lost or posted twice. The migration closes with a reconciliation between the two systems and a documented sign-off.
Includes
- data mapping
- master data cleansing and de-duplication
- opening balance validation
- chart-of-accounts review
- user acceptance test cases
- parallel-run checks
- cut-over controls
- migration sign-off
Reconciliation Services
We reconcile bank accounts, GST records, vendor and customer balances, inter-company accounts and digital settlements. Old open items are aged, investigated and cleared with supporting evidence, and recurring reconciliations are set up so that differences do not build up again.
Includes
- bank reconciliations
- books vs GSTR-2B and GSTR-1
- vendor and customer reconciliations with confirmations
- inter-company reconciliations
- payment-gateway, marketplace and POS settlements
- clean-up of old open items
- reconciliation statements with ageing of open items
Process Automation
We automate high-volume entries, approvals and reconciliations using workflow tools, scripts and low-code platforms. Each automation keeps a log of what it did, and exceptions are routed to a person for review. For banks and NBFCs, tools read electronic KYC and loan documents and flag gaps before approval.
Includes
- bulk data entry and uploads
- automated matching
- approval workflows
- scheduled reports
- activity logs
- automated KYC and loan-document checks for banks and NBFCs
MIS Dashboards & Analytics
We agree the measures that matter with management, map each to its data source, and build dashboards in Power BI or Excel that refresh from source data. Everyone works from one set of numbers, with drill-down to the underlying transactions.
Includes
- KPI definition
- data-source mapping
- Power BI and Excel dashboards
- drill-down reports
- data dictionary
- daily sales dashboards for distributors and supply chains
- outlet-wise sales, stock and settlement summaries
Audit Analytics & Continuous Monitoring
We write SQL-based exception reports that test every transaction rather than a sample. Rules flag duplicate payments, split invoices, unusual postings and policy breaches early, by location, product and risk level.
Includes
- 100% transaction testing
- duplicate and split-invoice checks
- unusual-entry reports
- risk-rated exception lists
- periodic monitoring reports
Custom Business Tools
After studying how your process runs today, we build compliance trackers, reconciliation utilities, control sheets and approval or checklist tools around it. Each tool is documented, handed over with user training and owned by you.
Includes
- compliance trackers
- reconciliation utilities
- approval and checklist tools
- outlet control sheets with daily settlement reports
- transport trip and imprest settlement tools with monthly invoice summaries
- user guides and training

Frequently asked questions
Questions people ask
Which systems do you work with?
We work with commonly used accounting and ERP systems, including Tally, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books and Microsoft Dynamics, as well as Excel and data exported from bank and GST portals.
Do you sell software?
No. Every automation, dashboard and tool is built for the specific engagement and handed over to you. We do not offer software products for sale.
How long does a data migration take?
It depends on the number of entities, the years of data and the quality of the masters. After an initial data review we agree a plan with clear milestones and sign-off points.
Can you clear a backlog of old reconciliations?
Yes. We usually start with a one-time clean-up of old open items and then set up monthly reconciliations so the backlog does not return.
Will automation replace our finance team?
No. It removes repetitive work, so your team can spend its time reviewing exceptions and acting on them.
Can you also be our statutory auditor?
For companies, the law restricts the statutory auditor from designing and implementing financial information systems for the same company. We will advise which services we can provide in your case.
Solutions are built for each engagement; no software products are offered for sale. Services are offered subject to applicable independence requirements.
